Marco Varvello is one of the best known journalists in Italy today. He worked for “La Notte” and “Il Giornale” under Indro Montanelli. At RAI since 1987, he anchored the television news for TG1, edited “Il Fatto” by Enzo Biagi and was previously the RAI correspondence in Berlin and the USA. He won the “London Foreign Press Award 2018” for the best programme in a foreign language about the UK on the subject of domestic violence. His most recent book, entitled “Brexit Blues”, was published in February this year.
